Day 6: Advocare 24 Day Challenge
Last nights workout kicked my ass in a good way. You can find it here. Y'all, please check the Pear Sports site/app out! It's super helpful and motivating! There are some workouts that you have to pay for but there are plenty of free ones available as well. Obviously, I am only using the free ones. lol
When I first inquired about the 24 Day Challenge on Instagram I was told there were quite a few pills to take. To me that wasn't an issue because they are mainly vitamins. However, like I said before, Advocare could really do some better organizing and labeling so things don't get confusing. I don't know if I'm reading too quickly and not paying full attention. (that's probably it) or if there really is a lot going on all at once, but it gets confusing later into the Challenge where taking the vitamins is concerned. Once you get use to a certain routine they switch it up on you and you miss something. I don't like that. I'm a creature of habit and it throws me off. lol
I'm still in the "Cleanse Phase". Which hasn't been bad at all. I think I expected something different from it but it has been gentle and pretty easy to handle. My favorite part is still obviously the Spark. I haven't had coffee since I started the Challenge and that speaks volumes in itself since I would function on 4 cups a day before. There are 5 days left of the "Cleanse Phase" and then I'll be in the "Max Phase".
Another really important aspect of this challenge is PLANNING. I don't know how many times I've read, seen, and heard it but "if you fail to plan, you're planning to fail." When I first heard it it made me laugh but now I repeat it constantly because it's so true. Minus yesterday, I was fully prepared with my homemade salad but left it in the fridge at work and had a milkshake instead. I don't regret it. It was delicious.
If you're considering doing this challenge, please use your resources and plan, plan, plan beforehand. Pinterest has tons of ideas! I will be posting meal plans in a few days but in the meantime feel free to follow my insta or Pinterest "Fit Mama" board.
