I know you are just dying to know what my day looks like when it's the weekend & I have Miss Sassy Pants.
As I was eating the bagel that took me literally two hours to make, I thought "BRILLIANT! BLOG POST!". Who knew Lenders would make inspiration hit.
Here's a look into a usual Sunday in the H household.
930-1130am: We wake up sometime around this time frame. Go ahead. Throw something at the computer screen. I'll wait....
Done? Ok. Usually it's 930-10a but one morning last weekend I slept right through K wanting to get up and well..she put herself back to sleep and didn't wake up until 12. ha! Mom win.
We'll say 10:15a: Coffee. Straight to the Kuerig. God Bless that Kcup taking machine. Throw a bagel in the toaster. Set it to 4 because someone keeps leaving it on 8. Because they like lumps of coal apparently.
10:20: Pick Kinsley's outfit out, walk into her room, tell her good morning as she throws stuffed animals overboard while pointing to the ceiling fan and screaming "LOOK! DUCKIE! LOOK! SHOE SHOE SHOE SHOE SHOE DUCKIE!" Change diaper, get kicked in the legs a million times all while she says "ewww stinky". Change her into her outfit then say "you're free! you're free!" as she runs off.
10:30a: COSUME THE COFFEE. Kinsley is playing with the TV remote yelling "BOB! BOB! BOB!" She's a very demanding child what can I say?
I turn the tv on put it on Mickey and let her be to consume more coffee.
10:45a: Oh yeah I made a bagel. Re-toast the bagel on 1 & throw in another K-cup because I consumed the first cup in record time.
10:50a: Butter bagel. Kinsley is too quiet.
10:53a: Kinsley is throwing tissues every where. Awesome.
Clean up mess. It hasn't even been a full hour yet folks.
Breakfast time! Hallelujah! For K of course.
11:15a: Feeding time. Kins gets in the chair says excitedly "Eat! Eat! Eat!" because you know...she never sees food.
11:45a: K is done eating us out of the house and wants to get down and play now. Play time it is. Mama needs more coffee and needs to eat. Oh yeah. The bagel.
Consume coffee, consume cold bagel and then grab the laptop for church service. Because venturing to the main building for service would mean getting dressed, brushing my hair and doing my make up would have to be involved and well that's not happening. God doesn't mind yoga pants and no mascara.
100p: Church is done. Wee it's nap time! Girlfriend loves her sleep so down she goes without a sound and mama is off to do some things around the house. Like laundry. And lunch. And let's be honest, watch TV.
4:00p: Sassy Pants wakes up and wants lunch. Lunch people. At 4pm. Lunch she gets. She plays for a few hours until our dinner time, then it's her bath time and then it's off to bed!
8:00p: Dinner, Run, Scripture note taking, getting things ready for work the next day, shower, make lunch and then finally crawl into bed around 10:30-11:00p because I'm an old lady.
I'm lucky and extremely blessed in that she's an amazing sleeper and loves loves loves her sleep. I love the energy she has and the fact that she loves to play, give hugs and kisses and just already has a really big heart. I love the time that I get to spend with her on the weekends since I work full time during the week.
She is the sassiest toddler I know and I swear she is already rolling her eyes at people.
I'm so proud.
What's your schedule like?!
PS: I have received a few emails from readers & I just want to let you know I'll be responding this week! xo
