Tie a Knot

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot a hang on" - Franklin D Roosevelt

I'm not sure how to really start this off other than you've probably noticed the lack of posts. and the lack of posts consisting of my husband.

For months now we've been trying to work on things, but with no success. After long debates and conversations and mainly arguments, the decision is now final.

M and I are getting a divorce.

While it was the farthest thing from an easy road getting here, We both believe and feel that we will be better friends and better parents (which is most important) if we are not together. I know that we will both be a lot happier once everything is done and once we have gone our separate ways for good.

I haven't been blogging or tweeting much lately because I like to use these as an outlet but wasn't ready to talk to anyone or let anyone know what was going on. But as of last night, it's official and I'm ready to talk and ready to announce it.

Because really? The Blogosphere holds some of my best friends and y'all have been an amazing support system thus far. So I apologize for sucking at blogging lately. Even though I know you'll tell me not to apologize, it's understandable. I am.

and I feel A LOT better now that it's out in the open!

I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are MUCH appreciated.

xo

I'm always here for you whenever you need me. You were there for me when I needed someone to chat with and I truly appreciated it.
I cannot honestly say that I know what you are going through but that doesn't mean that I can't be a shoulder for you.

Praying for everyone's peace of mind
Love you Sonja!

It takes a lot of courage to share yourself like this, and I hope that by sharing it helps you to heal. Like you said, there are tons of people here to love and support you! Sending you hugs through the interwebs!

Thinking about you! Divorce is never easy but if it's best for all parties involved, then it's the best choice. That's awesome that you will remain friends. I don't think alot of people who've been divorced can say that!

First of all, that is my favorite quote, hands down. It's such a good one, no matter what hardship you are going through.

Second of all, I'm sorry to hear this but it seems like the two of you made the right decision. I'm sure it wasn't an easy one. Hang in there. *hugs*
